
Kate Knox is a screenwriter/novelist. She began her career in academia teaching expository writing at universities in Ohio and Michigan before retiring to write full time.
Kate is the mother to four human beings who light this world on fire with every step they take. She lives with her husband, aka best friend, support system, and all-around hilarious guy, and three dogs who collectively don’t weigh 50 pounds but behave like 100 pound guard dogs. Currently, Kate lives in Northeast Ohio, however, she is a Floridian wannabe. Maybe someday…

THE FOUR
The Four is a completed novel: Cryptic notes arrive to four friends threatening a fifteen year old secret that drop the friends in the middle of a murder mystery where one of them becomes the prime suspect. Despite the orders from the investigating detectives to stay away from the investigation, the four friends decide to find the killer using their own tactics landing them in danger’s crosshairs.


THE CHRISTMAS BAUBLE
The Christmas Bauble is a made-for-television movie in development with the Motion Picture Corporation of America: A woman finds love and a 50-year-old mystery on the sandy beaches of an island off St. Lucia when a handsome man from the states arrives, and he finds a washed up Christmas ornament with a 50-year-old message inside. When they decide to find the original senders of the message, they find themselves falling for each other, but can a Christmas vacation romance last?

EXTRA INNINGS
An in-progress novel: A DIY blogger falls for a MLB player only to find out he believes he can see and talk to his dead wife’s ghost. While no one else in his life believes him, the blogger does. When notes arrive to the blogger’s home threatening her with the same demise as the wife, the blogger realizes she is the key to proving the wife wasn’t killed in an accident…she was murdered. But will she lose the love of her life in the process?

COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS
A made-for-television Christmas movie: When the owner of a Christmas shop in Willowbrook, Vermont calls on a jingle writer from New York to help drum up business, the shop owner gets more than she expected when they find the town suffering too and in need of the jingle writer’s help as well. Together, they construct the Countdown to Christmas using his family’s tradition to bring the Christmas spirit back to town and find themselves falling in love in the process.
